Introduction to Trichology of Hair and Scalp – Training Course
The Introduction to Trichology of Hair and Scalp course is specially designed for hair professionals and scalp specialists who want to further develop their expertise. This includes hairdressers, hairpiece specialists, and head spa businesses.
Hair loss and scalp problems are common issues we encounter daily, which is why having sufficient specialist knowledge is essential in order to give clients the right advice and solutions.
With this training, you will learn to play an important role in recognizing and advising on various hair and scalp conditions. By expanding your trichological knowledge, you can help your clients manage or prevent hair and scalp problems. This course broadens your expertise and develops you into a knowledgeable hair and scalp specialist.
Theory
- Anatomy and functions of the scalp
- Anatomy and structure of hair, and the functions of its components
- Hair problems and alopecia
- Scalp disorders: psoriasis, post-chemotherapy conditions, eczema, and infections
- Practical advice to help prevent scalp conditions
- Types of alopecia: which can be treated and which cannot
- Knowledge of products for preventing alopecia
- Trichogram analysis and reporting
- Introduction to trichogram analysis devices
- Introduction to treatment techniques for alopecia
- Introduction to various trichology-related devices
Practice
During the trichogram examination, participants will analyze each other’s scalp and hair growth using microscopes and cameras. This allows you to immediately apply theory into practice. You will also gain practical experience with different treatment techniques for alopecia.
